Peter Šavel & collective: WHAT THE FOLK

We live in a time full of tensions and divisions. But is there something that we all carry within us? Something that connects us? Movement - natural, human. I wait at the bus stop or at the doctor's and shift my weight from one leg to the other. Step here, step there - a rhythm is created, a dance. So humanly folkloristic?

In front of you and together with you, we would like to explore how a dance is created. How it arises as a connection between us. How it grows from the simplest steps, from the natural need to move, and gradually becomes more expressive. What could our folk dance look like today?
