Pit Hartling, one of the wittiest minds in German magic, presents his program "Pit Hartling wirkt Wunder" on Friday, 10 April 2026, 8 pm at the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen - a humorous stand-up magic show between amazing illusion, clear mind and quiet irony. An evening that experiences magic not as a show effect, but as clever entertainment. Admission from 7 pm. Organizer: Kulturhaus Schwanen.

He looks completely harmless, but that's the first trick. At the age of 17, Hartling becomes world vice-champion of magic in Tokyo. From then on, "Germany's thinnest magician" was uninhibitedly playing tricks on the world's stages, unrestrainedly presenting the audience with one impossibility after another. The fact that it is also incredibly funny prevents cognitive damage for most guests.

A spray to boost brain power? Turn ten euros into a hundred? Finding out the dates of birth of strangers by their house number and shoe size? Still better than white tigers.

Solid objects disappear into thin air, appear and transform. Incredible coincidences occur: it cannot be ruled out that a wedding ring is suddenly firmly linked to that of the person sitting next to you... And every now and then, Hartling tramples on data protection and personal rights and reads the thoughts of his audience in all seriousness.

The Frankfurter Rundschau called him "more entertaining than any magician before", the Süddeutsche Zeitung said: "So witty and funny that TV comedians would have to bow down in awe." But beyond all the superlatives, Hartling is concerned with something else: moments of connection in which the audience and magician forget the laws of nature for two hours together.
