Piya's musical identity is created at the intersection of virtuoso piano playing, electronic elements, experimental instrumentation and a haunting, poetic language. Her songs revolve around anger, world-weariness, physicality and the search for an identity in a world in which clear answers are becoming increasingly blurred. This mixture of fragility and power characterizes both her studio recordings and her live shows, which are attracting a steadily growing audience.
After her debut EP "PUR" and several releases in 2024 and 2025, including the single with Marlo Grosshardt, piya gained increasing attention via playlist features such as Wilde Herzen and New Music Friday as well as coverage on Diffus. With "Schreie schreie schreie", she is now setting the starting point for her new EP "TIGER", which is musically even more radical, energetic and personal.
The TIGER-TOUR 2026 will take her and her band to Leipzig, Cologne, Vienna, Hamburg and Berlin. This is the first time piya has brought her intense stage energy to the stage on this scale, opening the next chapter in her artistic development.
