Capitalism and technological progress have also changed everything in the Republic of Moldova. A future as a communal project and the prospect of a good life for everyone associated with it have receded into the distant future. The documentary performance by the collective teatru-spălătorie reclaims the right to tell the history of Eastern Europe from the perspective of the East and to once again imagine an alternative to the existing society. In a rousing multi-sound of sounds and interviews, they create a beat on stage that becomes the nightmare of capitalism.
