Leipziger Süden. A bit rough, a bit dirty, we love it.

What is a stand-up comedy open mic?
A stand-up comedy open mic is a small comedy test stage. Here you can see 4 to 8 new comedians and comediennes every week, who test their new
jokes or perform well-known acts. An evening lasts between 90 and 120 minutes, depending on the number of comedians. After about 3-4 comedians there is a short break. During this time you can refill your drinks and gather a little energy for the second half. There will be a moderator at the beginning who will talk to you and prepare the room for the comedians.

When and where does the Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic take place?
You can find us every Wednesday and every two weeks on Saturdays at Jet (Arthur-Hoffmann-Straße 54). Almost everything is allowed in this raw little pub. You are allowed to smoke, you are allowed to drink, only the comedians are allowed to
a bit of a rant. If you fancy a raw and dirty evening, come along.

The show starts at 21:00. From 20:40 we slowly make the entrance. If you arrive a little earlier, you are welcome to go to the bar in the Jet, stand behind the foosball table or discover one of the Jet's many other great options.

The shows are donation-based.
Of course, this still means that admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Cultural events like Comedy Open Mics should not be hidden behind expensive tickets. Nevertheless, donations at the end of the show help us to keep this event going to this extent. There is a basic donation recommendation of 10 euros per person. At the end of the day, however, you decide for yourself how much you want to give.
