Podiumsgespräch: Forum 321. Vom Wert der Vielfalt – Vermittlung von jüdischem Leben als gesellschaftlicher Auftrag

This year, Forum 321 is focusing on the topic of communicating Jewish history and culture as a social mission. In addition to political statements, the focus will be on day-to-day practical work in various areas of our society. The education and training of young people has a special role to play here. Naturally, the topic is linked to the rise in anti-Semitism in Germany and how to deal with the various forms of anti-Semitism.

After an introduction by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Wilhelm (Chairman of the Cologne Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation) and a keynote speech by Sabena Donath (Director of the Education Department of the Central Council of Jews in Germany), experts from various institutions will discuss how diversity can be experienced and endured in our society. Practical relevance in educational work and different approaches to this important topic will play a major role.

The program will be framed by musical contributions from Immo Federolf and his orchestra.
