POHLMANN became known to a wide audience in 2006 with "Wenn jetzt Sommer wär". After six singles and almost 20 years later, he released "Beweggründe" on December 12, 2025, an album that ranges from energetic to fragile, and sometimes humorously searches for support and attitude in times when we have to face our contradictions.

With his seventh studio album "Beweggründe", which oscillates between departure and retrospection, doubt and confidence, he will be touring Germany from winter 2025. Live, what can already be felt on record becomes even more tangible: POHLMANN doesn't just sing - he talks and laughs and spontaneously remembers and questions. Once again, not a program as it is written in the book. An evening like a good conversation that you didn't want to have, but needed. That's what makes his live program so positive and exciting.
