Cologne post-rock duo: Halcyon Waves and KAF at Stereo Wonderland

On November 22, 2025, Stereo Wonderland will be all about Cologne post-rock. Halcyon Waves and KAF are two bands that have long been established names in the local scene and have played a decisive role in shaping the city's instrumental sound.
Halcyon Waves make use of the tension between dynamics and melodies. The songs are well thought-out and unconventional, but still leave the listener room for emotions and head cinema. With their 2024 self-titled debut, they are now on the road to present their songs, which contain elements of post-rock, post-metal, but also sludge, stoner and electronica.
KAF complement the post-rock evening with dark instrumental music based on post-rock and stoner soundscapes. They are currently on the road with their second EP, Unison.

An evening that will show how diverse and lively Cologne's post-rock scene is and where lovers of instrumental rock music and emotional soundscapes will get their money's worth.
