Political Pink - The PRIDE show by KeinKunstDrags
Pink is the ideal color for a brightly colored Pride show, because it not only dresses drag queens fantastically, it is also more politically diverse than almost any other color.
Once the color of pure masculinity, later the color of female self-determination and power up to the always pink Barbie doll, it is also a color of protest, e.g. in the USA against President Trump and his policies.
In the queer scene, the color is omnipresent, it is reminiscent of the pink angle, which was used in National Socialism to mark homosexual men, in the rainbow the color stands for sexuality and is everywhere at the Prides of this world.
That's why we want to ring in ColognePride with this color - the Pride show of the KeinKunstDrags and their ensemble of Fey Knus, Daphne Dragee, Virginia White, Gloria Gossip, Luna de Lumière, Carrie Walker and Liz Queera.
The KeinKunstDrags are the in-house ensemble of KeinKunst e.V., a non-profit association for the promotion of queer stage culture in Cologne.
