With Primavera, Sonja Dold shows current works that do not understand spring as a clear season, but as a multi-layered state - between departure and ambivalence, resistance and lightness.

Her abstract acrylic paintings arise from an exploration of what eludes direct access: the unconscious, the subtle inner shifts and the space between perception and language. In these visual translations, moods become tangible that are often only hinted at - fleeting and at the same time haunting.

The Senses series forms a central starting point for the exhibition. It understands the body as a resonance chamber - as a system that continuously sends signals long before they are consciously recognized or classified. The works invite visitors to trace these impulses and give them meaning.

These themes are condensed in the work Primavera. The picture unfolds spring in its simultaneity - as an interplay of growth and uncertainty, of brightness and disruption. It thus reflects not only natural processes, but also inner movements.

The exhibition at Café Nisch in Stuttgart opens up a space in which viewers are invited to engage with these intermediate states and to experience spring as something that cannot be held in place, but is constantly emerging anew in all its colors, tensions and transitions.
