Privatsphäre stärken auf Android-Handys

In the organizer's words:

At 39C3, Marc-Uwe Kling ("Kangaroo Chronicles") proclaimed Digital Independence Day. On the first Sunday of every month, everyone is called upon to switch from big tech offerings to democracy-friendly alternatives. We as Bündnis Privatsphäre Leipzig support the campaign.

On Saturday, May 3, there will be a talk on "Strengthening privacy on Android phones". You will learn simple, immediately implementable measures to improve privacy on Android smartphones. We will show you how you can restrict app permissions, adjust privacy settings and reduce tracking without any prior knowledge. We provide hints and specific tips for using data-saving apps. There will be practical instructions and plenty of time and opportunity to put what you have heard into practice afterwards. So bring your cell phones!

The event will take place at Inspirata.
