With "Nostra aetate" (1965), the relationship between the Catholic Church and Judaism was fundamentally renewed. Sixty years later, we ask: Where do Jewish-Christian relations stand today? What are the current challenges?

Prof. P. Dr. Christian M. Rutishauser SJ addresses these questions in his lecture entitled: 60 years after the document "Nostra aetate" of the Second Vatican Council - On the threshold of the pontificate of Pope Leo XIV.

Rabbi Dr. David Fox Sandmel will then examine the topic: A Jewish Perspective on 60 Years of Dialogue with the Catholic Church and the Protestant and Orthodox Churches: Where do we go from here in the face of rising anti-Semitism?

The event in the ASTOR Film Lounge Cologne begins at 7.30 pm, admission is from 7.00 pm. Admission is free of charge. Registration for this event is required. The event will be accompanied by music from the duo DUOR.
