Safe on the road by bike and on foot:
With Vision Zero, the City of Munich has set itself the goal of making the streets safer for all road users - especially for the youngest among them. Around 140,000 children and young people make their way to school in Munich every day. On foot - but also by bike, of course. Various measures ensure that they arrive safely, from structurally separated and secured cycle paths, 30 km/h speed limits and crosswalks to the use of school route assistants or the cycling license for primary school children.
At the Radl-Talk, the mobility department and police will explain what they are doing to ensure the safety of schoolchildren on their daily journey to school and home, what plans are in place and where the limits and challenges lie.
The Radl-Talk is a series of talks organized by the Mobility Department and is taking place for the first time in the city library in Motorama. The event invites you to discuss various topics with interested parties, experts and representatives of the administration. The event aims to make the work of the department and the administration transparent.
