Radreisevortrag: Mit Mut zur Lücke unterwegs in Zentralasien

In the organizer's words:

Cycling along the Pamir Highway, in the highest mountain range in Central Asia - that was actually the idea. "And if we're flying so far away, we could combine it with a few months off. And maybe even cycle back to Germany..."
At least that was the idea of Lea Krönert and Max Thalmeier. And so it was that after a long period of planning and preparation, including minor and major hurdles, they found themselves at the start of their journey in Osh (Kyrgyzstan). From there, they set off in search of the most beautiful off-road routes. They didn't shy away from public transport, which was supposed to spare them the unsightly routes. After all, the aim was to explore many remote areas with a large portion of cycling fun. And they found them. And they can now tell stories about collapsed bridges in the Alai Mountains in Kyrgyzstan, the nomadic shepherds in the Bartang Valley in Tajikistan, ancient temples in Uzbekistan, cinemas in Georgia that always show the same film, a colorful sunrise in Cappadocia in Turkey or cuddly puppies among colorful autumn leaves in Bulgaria.
