Christmas is just around the corner and what could be better than baking and creating special treats with your loved ones? At the Panometer, all children receive a great recipe for French Christmas cookies free of charge with their visit - to match the current exhibition. However, there is a catch: to make the recipe at home, the exact quantities have to be found out in the exhibition. So it's time to puzzle again and families can look forward to an exciting exhibition experience.

With the panorama"Monet's Cathedral", Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi invites you on a picturesque journey to the French city of Rouen at the end of the 19th century. The focus is on the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been immortalized in a multifaceted interplay of extraordinary colour nuances, shades and incidences of light. Numerous contemporaries of the era, such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Auguste Renoir, can be found on the square in front of it and in the city's alleyways. Background noises and music that reflect the atmosphere of the late 19th century as well as a day and night light simulation bring France's past to life. Viewing takes place at ground level or from the various levels of the 15-metre-high visitor platform.
