Raus nach (dr)innen- Theateraufführung

In the organizer's words:

What happens to a person when they live in structures that don't mean them?
When love is linked to performance.
When recognition remains a loan that is never paid out.

Raus nach (dr)innen does not tell of individual mistakes, but of systems that shape people, constrict them and play them off against each other. Of characters whose actions are not the result of freedom, but of structural pressure. Characters who have learned to function - until functioning is no longer enough and action becomes unavoidable.

At the center are two families:
One migrant and one non-migrant,
one in which closeness is a matter of course,
and one in which closeness has to be negotiated.

Both families carry their own injuries, illusions and repressions.
Where their realities of life meet within the same social order, encounters are not easy. Cracks appear.

Cracks in seemingly stable facades.
Cracks in relationships.
Cracks in bodies, in spaces, in language.

Raus nach (dr)innen does not ask: Who is to blame?
But rather: What makes a system out of people who have to survive in it?
