Razorlight is, alongside international stars such as The Libertines and The Kooks, one of the iconic British indie rock bands of the 2000s. Their sound is characterized by jangling guitar riffs and driving, vibrant rhythms and brought unconventional influences such as Patti Smith, Television or The Velvet Underground into the pop mainstream. Their debut album "Up All Night" was released in 2004, capturing the explosive energy of the original London scene of the early 2000s and included the epochal hits "Golden Touch" and "Somewhere Else".

After a long hiatus and many line-up changes, the band announced a reunion of the founding members in 2021 to rectify the unsatisfactory end to their original line-up. The first phase of the reunion included a livestreamed performance, a series of festival appearances in front of sold-out audiences and a new collection entitled "Razorwhat?". At ZMF, they will be bringing well-known hits, new numbers and a good dose of English nonchalance.
