Rückspiegel / Rearview Mirror
Stories and developments from Neustadt-Neuschönefeld and the neighboring districts - from the late 1980s to the present day.

The exhibition invites visitors to talk and listen: People from the east of Leipzig share their memories, show personal objects, photos and documents. This creates a vivid picture of the time of upheaval in which Neustadt-Neuschönefeld has experienced many changes from the Peaceful Revolution to the present day - from migration and social change to cultural diversity and neighborhood life.

What stories remain, what has changed, what do we want to remember?
Exciting events and encounters await you to accompany the exhibition. Martin Jankowski will kick things off at the vernissage on November 27 with a reading from his novel Rabet oder Das Verschwinden einer Himmelsrichtung - followed by a space for discussion and exchange.
