The Leipzig "Re:Ukraine" collective invites you to Tanklager West (Plautstraße 41, Leipzig) on September 13 from 2 to 10 pm.

The Russian war of aggression against Ukraine continues, while attention in Germany is increasingly fading. With this event, "Re:Ukraine" wants to shift the focus back to Ukraine and make solidarity tangible in a new way: Through cultural exchange, creative projects and financial support.

You can expect workshops on traditional Ukrainian art techniques, live music, panel discussions with activists, readings by Ukrainian authors, a short film screening and an art fair with works by Ukrainian artists.

In addition, the Radical Kunst Force collective will provide Ukrainian cuisine for your physical well-being on the day and the Kidz Space invites young guests to play and create.

As part of the "Re:Ukraine" initiative, two events have already been held in Leipzig to raise awareness of the situation in Ukraine and collect donations.

The entrance fees and donations - after deducting the fixed costs of the Tank Terminal West - will go to selected aid organizations in Ukraine. The participating projects will present and announce at the event which organizations will receive concrete support.

So come along and make a joint gesture of solidarity for Ukraine.

Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine continues, while public attention in Germany has increasingly waning. With this event, "Re:Ukraine" aims to shift the focus back to Ukraine and bring solidarity to life in new ways: through cultural exchange, creative projects and financial support.
The program includes workshops on traditional Ukrainian art techniques, live music, panel discussions with activists, readings by Ukrainian authors, a short film screening and an art fair featuring works by Ukrainian artists. Also, the Radical Kunst Force collective will provide Ukrainian Kuefa for your culinary well-being and a Kidz Space will welcome the youngest guests with room for play and creativity.

As Re:Ukraine, we have already held two events in Leipzig to raise awareness of the situation in Ukraine and collect donations.

After deducting the fixed costs of Tanklager West, the admission fees and donations will go to selected aid organizations in Ukraine. The specific organizations that will receive support will be presented and announced by the participating projects during the event.
