"RheinPop - unplugged and freshly tapped" is the name of the new series of events launched by Nico Mono. Together with his guests Lia L. Shoshann and Was Auch Immer, the singer/songwriter will take to the stage at Joode Lade in Cologne on Thursday, November 13 - all of them will be performing original and acoustic music.
RheinPop offers a platform for bands and solo artists who identify with the versatility and appeal of popular music. The evening will be hosted by Ari Reith. The event is supported by Joode Lade, one of the most "pop-popular" Kölsch pubs in the cathedral city. Both have long specialized in enriching Cologne's cultural life.
When: It starts on Thursday, 13.11.2025 at 8 pm, admission 7.30 pm.
Where: Joode Lade, Lindenstraße 62, 50674 Cologne
Admission: 10 euros (this only supports the artists)
LIA L. SHOSHANN
Lia is a songwriter, a kid from the 90s, somewhere between pop songwriting, singer-songwriting and a heart that beats for restless rhythms and loud guitars. Lia prefers to be inspired by strong women*, honest anger, the twilight of travel days and the chaos of interpersonal relationships. L. is for love, if you listen.

NICO MONO
Nico Mono's discography is full of catchy tunes that tell stories ranging from everyday outbursts to the big wide world. Acoustic guitars, gripping vocals and sometimes lively, sometimes gentle beats merge into multi-faceted melodies. There are stylistic greetings from indie pop. The Bonn native by choice has already celebrated minor hits such as "Amsterdam" - which has already earned him TV and radio appearances. His soulful lyrics often spread a good mood, but also leave room for melancholy moments.
WAS AUCH IMMER
The Cologne band Was Auch Immer has stood for German pop with heart, humor and lightness since 2021. Their songs tell of everyday stumbling blocks, friendship and the art of not taking life too seriously. What began as a spontaneous jam in a kitchen quickly became a mission to make music that is fun. With catchy melodies, honest lyrics and self-irony, Thomas Schwietz, Julian Kartmann and Marcus Berinski get the audience dancing and singing along. Because for the band: "We make music out of love, nonsense and good humor."
