Rhytm & Rage - Percussion Performance

We cordially invite you to celebrate the conclusion of our three-year model program L.I.K. - Laboratory for Inclusive Culture with us.

The evening will focus on South African composer Carlie Schoonees with her work "I eat men like air", which was created during her residency at the Un-Label Studio - an intense piece about female rage as embodied, often repressed energy. Percussionist Rita Couto Soares will perform two works in the evening: a solo by Iannis Xenakis between rhythm, body and presence and Schoonees' new composition.

Join us for a toast to three years of international residencies, emerging artistic practice and inclusive cultural work.
