Roomservice XXV - Theatrale Erlebnisräume im Kunsthaus Rhenania

In the organizer's words:

21 years of ROOM SERVICE
We launched the first ROOM SERVICE in 2004 - a venture, an experiment that is still going strong. We are proud and would like to say a big thank you to all those who made this possible: Audience, participants and especially this year's supporters.
And of course, a new Room Service awaits you again this year, with great, exciting and unpredictable acts with more than thirty artists at Kunsthaus Rhenania. Alice and Nicolas' modern, quirky dance space and Britta Lieberknecht's dance-music-improvisation ensemble will be there again.

Two actors and mothers will tell entertaining stories about what it's like to live in these worlds and a special flutist, Ben Kutta, will be joining them for the first time.

There will be exciting, everyday, but also confusing actor duos and a new, brilliant Butoh performance will take place in the hall.
Four days, twice in the evening, theater, dance, comedy, poetry, music and poetry slam: ROOM SERVICE is back. But the theatrical room service does not come to the audience. Guests make their own way through the building and have to decide again and again: Which of two performances do I want to see? ROOM SERVICE is a playful, sensual and crazy mixture - always new and very close.

Performers (not all are listed yet): Noelle Fleckenstein, Matilde Cavier, Pascal Scurk, Albrecht Maurer, Daniel Müller, Jessica Sinapi, Frank Baumstark, Nicolas Folz, Alice Janeczek, David N. Koch, Jule Schacht, Analia Celeste Muniz, Lennart Hahn, Signe Zurmühlen, Eric Carter, Paul Bank, Leonie Houber, Ben Kutta, Irene Blasig, Samira Zand

"At the beginning of the evening, each member of the audience is given a route map that tells them the order of the floors to be visited, but not the choice of room. What is required here is a willingness to make decisions ..." Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger

"ROOM SERVICE thrives on the moment of surprise. All the senses are engaged within an hour." Kölnische Rundschau

"Everyone is free to decide. But if one decision can be made in advance at this point, it's this: definitely go!" Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger
