Australia's Magic Machine have long since made a name for themselves as one of the most exciting new groups in Australia's current psychedelic rock scene. With three albums under their belt and an electrifying live show, Magic Machine caught the attention of the great The Dandy Warhols and landed the support slot for their full Australian and New Zealand tour in 2023.

Magic Machine's third album, Castle In The Sky, showcased the band's penchant for energetic, fuzz-soaked psych-rock akin to King Gizzard and Oh Sees. The new single "Pieces Of My Brain", on the other hand, takes a different direction again and ties in with their passion for garage rock influenced by the sound of the 1960s.

With whammy-soaked guitar riffs, trilling organ chords, echoing vocal tracks and a pulsating rhythm section, the song is a fast-paced track with a relaxed surf and blues flair, reminiscent of golden-era bands like Link Wray and The Ventures.
