OUTRAGE from Le Mans have been celebrating their brass-heavy punk rock on the stages of Europe's alternative venues since 1996. Punk, ska, rock and metal are the active ingredients in their party recipe - loud, direct, socially critical and melodic. Known for their rousing live performances, the band has played over 500 concerts throughout Europe and shared the stage with the likes of Fishbone, Ska-P and Shakaponk. OUTRAGE consistently pursues a DIY philosophy: from songwriting to production to release, everything remains in their own hands - independent of the mainstream. Albums such as Le Souffle des fous, Irrécupérable or the current Règne Animal demonstrate their musical and thematic diversity. The latter packs social criticism into animal fables - powerful, witty and pointed. Even after almost 30 years, OUTRAGE remain a constant in the French punk scene and we celebrate this with them.
