It's X-Mas Ruby Tuesday and URGE and Cafe Glocksee want to celebrate with you ... URGE before Christmas! Little surprises await you, and there will be the opportunity to get one or two last-minute gifts before Christmas Eve.

At the beginning of the evening, Yasmin Sibai will read from her book "Punked", in which the author draws a line of tradition from the punk of the early 90s to the hacker scene of the noughties.

Afterwards, URGE will lead you through a relaxed evening and bang your eardrums.

URGE are part of an alternative music story that began in the early 90s with the formation of several bands in Hanover. The music magazine 'Spex' gave the scene, and with it the city of Hanover, the name "Hardcorehausen". In the years that followed, URGE toured all over Europe and played in cities such as Barcelona, Paris, Prague, Warsaw, Rome, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London, as well as in almost every youth center in Germany. In 1991 they accompanied the Washington legends 'FUGAZI' on their European tour. In the meantime, the project 'Power of Expression' was created, with which URGE also toured throughout Europe with Bolt Thrower, Varukers, Stuck Mojo, Voivod and CIV, among others.

What kind of music do URGE make, ... Hardcore, indie, alternative or crossover? The music press describes URGE like this:

"URGE practice a way of playing hardcore that has long been forgotten: powerful, pumping, grooving, maelstrom-like."
