In the organizer's words:

WALKING WITH STARDUST is a performative memorial tour dedicated to the life and legacy of Angie Stardust - a Black trans* American artist, activist and still largely unknown icon of Hamburg. Developed by the Transtronica team around Saeleen Bouvar, the project makes the traces, voices and memories of her life tangible in the urban space and follows central stages of her artistic and political work. The result is an acoustic portrait of one of the most influential trans* women in Hamburg's history - inscribed in the city itself.

As part of Kampnagel's focus on trans* visibility, in which the performance festival LIMINALITIES and the club format TRANSTRONICA come together, WALKING WITH STARDUST will be activated on two evenings by live introductions: Saeleen Bouvar and the Transtronica team will guide visitors along biographical, political and poetic traces and give an insight into the artistic research of the project.

In addition, the memory tour can be experienced individually at any time. The starting point is the Pulverteich. A 90-minute podcast is accessible via a QR code, which accompanies the walk along a route mapped in the flyer to the Landungsbrücken. In the West Foyer of Kampnagel, a video work introduces Angie Stardust's life. A selection of her music and flyers with a map are also available there.

WALKING WITH STARDUST sees itself as a collective act of remembrance - as listening that picks up traces and literally tackles forgetting.
