Touching, hilarious & always entertaining: Germany has a huge singer-songwriter scene - and the Sago Song Salon is the place to experience it with alternating performances and talk on stage in a living room atmosphere.
The evening's host and master of ceremonies is singer-songwriter Tobias Dellit. He is an active member of the Stuttgart Feierabendkollektiv and with "Tau" has produced a second, haunting album full of precise, poetic observations - with "the humor of a Funny van Dannen and the laconicism of a Gisbert zu Knyphausen".
His guests today are:
Katharina Franck: Blueprint of a life
Katharina Franck has been writing timeless songs for over 40 years, which can be heard on 18 album productions. Her hit "Blueprint" brought her gold status and made her an international star with her band Rainbirds. Today, she performs German songs that speak of life experience, political awareness and poetic flair. In 2024, the Düsseldorf-born autodidact will publish her debut as an author with "Momentausnahmen".
Sven Garrecht - piano cabaret
If not now, where else? Sven Garrecht sings, plays and writes poetry about the questions of our time: What do the heroes of the new generation look like? Is it already faith if I only believe that I believe? And what does this church actually believe? Am I old enough to want to feel young again? When will the organic waste be collected?
