Sam Garrett

Sam Garrett is one of those musicians whose life has revolved around music from birth. Growing up in a musical home in Derbyshire, UK, his father took him to concerts from an early age. At the age of twelve, Sam formed his first band before launching his own solo career and releasing his debut EP "Be Easy" in 2014. Since then, the singer/songwriter has released four albums, starting with his debut "Grace", which introduced his spiritual guitar sound for the first time in full length. His 2021 album "Root Down Deep" - a collaboration with Mollie Mendoza - was then a stripped-back acoustic work. Many songs were limited to the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar, leaving the perfectly harmonizing voices of the two artists to stand on their own.

The current solo work "Forward To Zion" (2023) moves more in the direction of reggaeton and once again shows just how versatile Sam Garrett is in his musical output. The spiritual side that runs through his sound also emerges on "Forward To Zion" and stands side by side with the life-affirming arrangements of the positive overall atmosphere. The work, which deals with self-reflection, was recorded by Sam Garrett in Hawaii in the form of a proud 17 songs. In it, the Brit shares the insights he has gained over many years through his intensive study of Eastern philosophy,
meditation and Rastafarianism with his listeners. As part of this, Sam Garrett is now embarking on a tour to share his wisdom with the world. He will be making a total of seven stops in Germany this November.

In 2025, Faust will also be venturing into selected venues outside the home with bands and artists it has befriended. As in the domestic concert halls, we will continue to focus on the meticulous selection of content that is in line with the self-image of the Faust cultural center. In this way, we would like to actively present our work beyond Linden in other parts of Hanover.
