On June 17, the Groove Station will host the last edition of the Sax Royal reading stage before the summer break. There's no question that the literary core team will be turning up the heat once again for the occasion. Michael Bittner takes on the doofuses of the era with his usual relentlessness, Roman Israel outlines the peculiarities of everyday life in a highly comical way, Max Rademann reports on almost unbelievable events in the Erzgebirge World Heritage Site and Gesine Schäfer discovers astonishing parallels between the love lives of humans and animals. An evening where you can laugh and become a little wiser at the same time is to be expected.
As always, the reading stage has also invited a guest from afar. For the first time, it welcomes the writer Katinka Buddenkotte! Katinka was born in Münster, but lives and writes in Cologne. Both mostly funny. But she reads aloud wherever she is needed. This happens regularly at "Rock 'n'Read", the reading stage at Cologne's Theater Klüngelpütz. When Ms. Buddenkotte is not writing novels or touring the country, she writes shorter and longer pieces (e.g. "Die Wahrheit" in the taz, whole plays or half TV shows).
