Schnickschnack Poetry Slam - Jazz Edition

In the organizer's words:

The TMD Poetry Slam is a guest at the Lovebird Festival at the Goethemuseum!

The Schnickschnack Poetry Slam has been taking place monthly at the Theatermuseum since 2023 - but on June 6, the format will become a jazz slam. Self-written texts meet live improvised music and transform the stage into a unique interplay of words and sound.

Poetry slam means: own texts, no props, the audience decides. Whether funny, political or poetic - everything is allowed.

For this special edition as part of the Lovebird Festival at the Goethemuseum, top-class poets will take to the stage, accompanied by musicians (line-up to follow). The evening will be hosted by members of the Musenkollektiv.

We were able to win these scene stars as poets for the evening:

• Luise Wolff - NRW state champion 2025, finalist German-language championships 2025
• Eva Matz - winner of the Bremen Women's Culture Prize 2025, finalist of the Lower Saxony/Bremen Championships
• Malek Khamis - Finalist NRW State Championship 2025
• Evgenija Kosov - NRW runner-up 2024, finalist German-speaking championships 2024
