Cult songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage is known for an enormous output of heartbreaking ballads. Each new record is an adventure in sensitivity and nuance.

His music is about more than just melodies - it's about exploring deep feelings and big ideas.

Sean Nicholas Savage has been with Arbutus Records since 2009, where he has become a key figure in the label's bold, experimental approach to music. A Neil Young song with Mac DeMarco on stage in Paris, a live barefoot show at Primavera or a concert at CTM Festival - Sean remains the open-hearted artist who always stays true to his listeners.

In recent years, Savage has written and performed musicals, and he has released other recordings with a cinematic influence. Savage's live shows are minimalist and captivating as they create a raw space paired with hyper-intimate and driven performances of his larger-than-life classic songbook.

His new album "The Knowing" will be released on June 27, 2025 via Born Losers Records and Mansions & Millions.
