Self-Care Writers is mindful, creative writing in a group. A bit like journaling, only with concrete impulses. Together we look inside ourselves and at the world and adopt new perspectives. We alternate between writing and sharing phases; after each impulse there is the opportunity to share what we have written. It's not about "right" or "wrong", but about the joy of creative expression and self-exploration.
For the transition from fall to winter, the theme on November 24 is "Contemplation". We will find silence together and turn our attention inwards. What do I associate with the quiet season? What do I myself need to find peace?
