SHE JAZZ mit Hedwig Janko, Britta Rex und Lena Geue

In the organizer's words:

SHE JAZZ presents female musicians who show how vibrant and diverse jazz is today - and how strongly female perspectives are shaping the future of the genre. The evening will be hosted by singer and songwriter Agata Paulina Clasen, who also curated the line-up.

Hedwig Janko, winner of the Lübeck Jazz Prize 2025, explores musical communication with her project Dialect and is accompanied by Pouya Abdi on guitar. Britta Rex combines vocals, piano and loop station to create multi-layered soundscapes between modern jazz and experimental influences. Lena Geue works with voice, guitar, synthesizer/piano and violin and develops her music from improvisation and new sound concepts.

At the end: a joint performance by all the musicians.
