The eccentric musician and composer Chilly Gonzales is considered a role model for numerous other artists such as Feist, Jarvis Cocker, Peaches, Daft Punk and Drake. In his performances, he mixes contrasting musical genres such as chamber music, rap and electronic music, which at first seem incompatible. His path from his Canadian homeland via the Berlin underground scene of the 90s to the Parisian concert halls of today is traced.
