Four-time Grammy winner Sierra Ferrell is coming to Germany for the first time. On July 1, 2026, the extraordinary singer-songwriter will make a guest appearance at Hamburg's Gruenspan and present her unique blend of Americana, folk, country and blues, which has made her one of Nashville's most sought-after musicians, as part of the Heavy Petal Tour 2026.

Sierra Ferrell has come a remarkable way: from the streets of New Orleans and Seattle, where she honed her craft as part of a traveling group of homeless musicians, to the world's biggest stages. Her musical socialization in boxcars and as a street musician still shapes her unmistakable sound today. The New York Times Magazine describes her music as "an unmistakable, forward-looking synthesis of antique styles" and hears echoes of Édith Piaf, Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse.

2025 was a breakthrough year for the West Virginia-born artist: she picked up four trophies at the 67th Grammy Awards - Best Americana Album for Trail of Flowers, Best Americana Performance, Best American Roots Song and Best American Roots Performance, each for her song American Dreaming. The album Trail of Flowers showcases Ferrell's full artistic range and her penchant for eclecticism. She combines traditional American musical forms with modern influences to create a sound that is both timeless and contemporary.

In addition to her own sold-out headlining shows, Ferrell 2025 has shared the stage with Post Malone on his entire stadium tour, toured arenas with Mumford & Sons and collaborated with artists such as Diplo, Joe Jonas and Shaboozey. Her viral presence on social media and energetic live performances have earned her an ever-growing international fanbase.

The Heavy Petal Tour will take Sierra Ferrell through the USA and Europe in summer 2026. In addition to Hamburg, the program includes shows in London, Paris, Amsterdam and appearances at renowned festivals such as Rock Werchter and the Roskilde Festival. For every ticket sold in the USA, one dollar will go to the National Immigration Law Center, which campaigns for the rights of low-income immigrants.
