As the evening slowly draws to a close and the applause of the garden fades into the nocturnal atmosphere, a very special concert experience begins: Jan Behrens at the piano - under the stars.
Jan Behrens discovered his passion for the piano as a child. An old instrument given to him by his grandmother for his sixth birthday became the starting point of a musical journey that has accompanied him to this day. Since then, the piano has remained his central means of expression - an instrument with which he creates his own compositions and explores worlds of sound.
For Jan Behrens, music is more than just melody. It opens up spaces for emotions and new soundscapes. His pieces arise from the desire to make personal musical ideas audible and to share them with others. He moves between quiet, atmospheric passages and moments in which new, unexpected timbres unfold.
At Applaus Garten, this special concert format becomes an intense experience: the solo piano concert takes place in the open air and the music is transmitted via headphones. This creates an intimate, almost meditative atmosphere in which every nuance of the piano can be heard.
The midnight concert invites you to fully immerse yourself in the music, enjoy the moment and end the evening in a special way.
