Short biography of Bonita Niessen
Bonita Niessen has worked with numerous pop and big bands and orchestras, including the Bundeswehr Big Band, the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen and the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also sung backing vocals for Till Brönner, Daliah Lavi, Helene Fischer and Stefanie Heinzmann, among others.
She took part in the casting show SSDSGPS and came second in 2004. Her teaching activities include guest lecturer positions at the Powervoice Academy Hamburg and the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Herford. She has record contracts with BMG Hamburg and Raab Records/Warner Music and has released several albums and singles.
She works as a songwriter and composer for her own albums as well as for other artists and studios. She has appeared on TV with Michael Bublé and Kool & The Gang and took part in the live broadcast of the Luther pop oratorio on ZDF. Her voice can also be heard in SWR3 radio jingles, and she has worked in the studio with Dieter Falk and Lillo Scrimali.
