The Sing ein Lied in Deiner Stadt project, which was awarded the Munich Folk Culture Innovation Prize, invites 16 Munich residents with no stage experience to perform their favorite song live with our band in the Black Box at Fat Cat.
There was no casting or pre-selection for newcomers to the stage - the first 16 registrations are automatically included in the program.
Each song is rehearsed for just 20 minutes the day before the concert and for 10 minutes during the sound check - so the adventure of the musical encounter can also be experienced up close by the audience!
