SINNTHESE + DIE FARCE DIE

In the organizer's words:

As "Sinnthese", Jakob Henneken plays nervous synth-pop that makes eyes at the noise. Trivial-radical lyrics and fragmentary sounds between sound art and the avant-pop of NDW. Henneken was born in Hamburg and is currently studying experimental and electro-acoustic music at the mdw in Vienna. Vinyl release on Felix Kubin's label Gagarin Records with the intermedia project "Die Nebenwirkung", as well as a series of releases in the digital space via Storage Records and Component Recordings (USA). Regular tours in German-speaking countries and the surrounding European region. Festivals such as Fusion, Papiripar, Kampnagel Sommerfestival and Off The Radar.

DIE FARCE DIE emerged from the Frankfurt DIY scene with members now based in Offenbach and Berlin. They play high-energy synthpunk with overdriven synths and fast, jangly guitar. They're reminiscent of bands like Wipers, New Order, McCarthy and Grauzone - citing them for the cause of radical pop music.
