SLADEK is a soul band consisting of singer and guitarist David Sladek, bassist Alvis Reid and drummer Raphael Vorraber. With their EP Loveless, released in 2024, the group redefined their musical vision, taking inspiration from the soul music of the late
1960s soul music.

Working with producer Mathias Garmusch, the Austrian-based trio now boasts an honest, personal and timeless sound. This partnership led to a unified new production approach and marked the transition to analog recording - which ultimately culminated in their 2025 album "Things Gotta Change", on which songs like "Stranger"
and "Here to Stay" can be found.

The band has proven to be a captivating live act, conveying the deep emotions of soul music and strong rhythms, encouraging audiences to sing and dance along. On stage, the trio is accompanied by Taineh on keyboard and backing vocals and Mathias Garmusch on drums.

It all began in 2019 with the release of their debut album Daydreamin', on which SLADEK presented their characteristic blend of catchy R&B melodies and deep neo-soul influences - and immediately found favor with fans and fellow musicians alike. With further releases in 2021 and 2022 - including the EP 'Fabricated Reality' - the band finally
the band finally established themselves as an integral part of the scene.

By 2023, their new sound was taking shape and paving the way for a creative breakthrough that would shape their future releases.
