The duo "Smith & West" probably know the songs of the BEATLES better than almost any other band.

For decades, they have been playing the hits on their own personal BEATLES evenings and reviewing the stages of their own stage career. "Smith & West" tell the audience about their musical beginnings, inspiring encounters in France, visits home to Aunt Anneliese in Pfennigsmoorweg between the strawberry fields or their experiences in Hamburg dosshouses and backyard dives. At the beginning of the 1960s, the duo played in various clubs in Hamburg and experienced an exciting time there. However, they never met the Liverpool band, who also took their first steps towards a global career in Hamburg. Nevertheless, the two bands are more closely connected than is generally known.
