Solidarity Sessions - culture meets activism

On September 13 from 3 pm, the Cologne Donation Convoy and Medical Volunteers International invite you to the first Solidarity Session at Café Jakubowski. You can expect an open and relaxed atmosphere with solidarity drinks, live music, inspiring conversations and plenty of space to discuss the situation of refugees - and how we can act together in solidarity.

Program:
👉 15:00 - Arrival & exchange
👉 16:00 - Concert by Isabelle Pabst
👉 17:00 - Talk: Sophia (manulit) in dialog with Nada Assaad about her artistic work
👉 18:30 - Panel on the situation of people on the run & how we can become politically active together
👉 Afterwards: Open end with drinks & discussions

The Solidarity Sessions combine culture and activism: a space for everyone who wants to inform themselves, network and exchange ideas - regardless of whether you are already involved or just thinking about becoming active.

Come along, bring friends and let's make a strong statement of solidarity together.

Medical Volunteers International is an NGO that provides urgently needed medical care to refugees in various European hotspots.

The Cologne Donation Convoy supports people fleeing at the EU's external borders with relief supplies, donations and political engagement.
