The Dortmund collective brings a fresh guitar sound to the stage with four acts between indie, post and pop-punk. Sometimes melancholic and driving, sometimes full of energy and catchy melodies, the result is a varied mix of emotion, attitude and summer vibes. Between honest lyrics about cohesion, mental health and the desire for connection, music becomes a shared experience. From atmospheric soundscapes to danceable hooks, everything is included - loud, lively and approachable.

Goose Park

What does the modern intersection of Neck Deep, State Champs and Knuckle Puck sound like? Goose Park stands for energetic pop-punk/emo from NRW with a catchy tune guarantee. The band inspires with catchy songs about mental health, relationships and the odd emotional total loss. The EP MOUTH WIDE OPEN, released in 2024, was produced entirely in-house and caused a pop-punk quake with the first single "Falling" that will leave you wanting more. Their live debut as support act for the Donots was the starting signal for a sold-out EP release show in Dortmund as well as several festivals and open airs last year (including Laut & Lästig Open Air with Van Holzen).

Hear Me Out

With Hear Me Out you can expect post-punk and indie rock with influences from new wave and punk. Fans of The Cure, Placebo and Fontaines D.C. are guaranteed to feel right at home here. Through the combination of melodic guitars, analog synthesizers and energetic vocals, the band creates an intense and captivating atmosphere. The band lives their love of live music and is not afraid to show themselves emotionally and vulnerably. Their music combines old sounds with new ideas and is clearly in tune with the times. Somewhere between melancholy, empowerment and loss of control is their sound, which is sometimes bold and experimental without losing its catchiness. With their new debut album 'SUMMER', the group ventures a radical change of perspective on collective fears, world-weariness and the search for a new togetherness.

KES

KES is a chameleon in the indie jungle. The multi-genre instrumentalist floats between singer-songwriter, jazzy lo-fi and 8-bit bedroom pop and can do everything but hold still. Originally a street musician, he uploaded covers to SoundCloud early on. Since 2017, KES has been writing and producing his music in his dreamy attic.

Riot but cute

Riot but cute believes in a world where no one has to be alone - characterized by vulnerability, honesty and solidarity, not just between friends, but as people - their music combines extremes and draws on a range of emotions. It dazes and entangles, pushes you to the limit and even further, only to catch you at the last moment. With attention to detail, they create a space full of vivid moments, dreams, despair and hope - together out of isolation! Real connection. They break down the distance between stage and audience.

Artist collective and event host

Connecting people through art, culture and music - this is what the Dortmund collective has made its mission statement. The diverse group has been able to realize various events in local clubs, bars & cafés as well as open spaces and art galleries since its foundation in 2024. Whether through electronic music, analog live acoustics or experimental art - through one of these media they connect people and create cross-genre exchange.

Summer at the U

Free and outdoors. Every year from June to August, the forecourt of the Dortmunder U is transformed into a festival stage. Thanks to the tried-and-tested "made by many" concept, there is something for pretty much every taste - from live music ranging from folk & indie to pop & rock to hip hop, punk and jazz. Poetry slams or readings, electronic DJ sets or record evenings.
