"Niñxs" is a life-affirming, courageous story about self-determination, belonging and the strength to go one's own way.
Over a period of eight years, the director follows trans teenager Karla in the small Mexican town of Tepoztlán. The camera witnesses Karla's development, from the first steps of transition to her coming of age.
