The Spider Murphy Gang have been performing on stages across Germany since 1977 - and have achieved unbroken cult status. When frontman Günther Sigl, Barney Murphy and their bandmates get going, every hall is transformed into a pulsating rock'n'roll club. With driving guitars, rolling boogie piano and infectious joy of playing, the band provides a rousing live experience.

The Spider Murphy Gang started their impressive triumphal march from the Munich music scene. With hits such as "Sommer in der Stadt", "Schickeria" and "Skandal im Sperrbezirk", they created songs that have long since become an integral part of German-language music history and are celebrated at concerts across all generations.

Despite numerous awards, gold and platinum records and sold-out venues, the band has always remained true to itself: The Spider Murphy Gang still sees itself as a passionate live band. Whether unplugged or with a full rock line-up - their shows impress with authenticity, energy and musical quality. Günther Sigl is not only a charismatic frontman, but also inspires with humorous anecdotes. A special highlight are the cult exchanges between Sigl and Barney Murphy, whose stage humor provides the best entertainment.

Five decades of straightforward rock'n'roll stand for a band that has never let itself bend. In 2027, the Spider Murphy Gang celebrates its 50th anniversary. The highlight of the celebrations will be a big concert on October 30, 2027 in the Olympiahalle, where the band will look back on their extraordinary career together with friends and companions.

Even around this anniversary, one thing remains certain: the Spider Murphy Gang will continue to tour unabated - no one is thinking of stopping. Rock'n'roll in their blood, rock'n'roll in their fingers - this passion knows no end.
