Reading (from 10 years)
On a starry summer's night, Toni and her best friend YumYum use their homemade cosmic radio to transmit into the sky in order to make contact with Toni's deceased mother. But instead of Toni's mother, the girls are answered by astronaut Zanna from a space station. A unique literary voice, stunningly funny dialog and two captivating girls full of clever ideas - the first children's book by Karen Köhler, nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize 2025.
It's great: how Karen Köhler tells the story of a magical night that is both light as a feather and heavy with tears, leaving young and old alike changed. For children and adults who believe in the power of wishes and find small magic in the real world.
