A new approach to painting

Squeegee art is a relatively new painting technique in which a squeegee is used instead of a brush. The paint is pulled, pushed and layered over the canvas - this creates clear edges, soft gradients and exciting structures that are very different from classic painting.

In the workshop, we deliberately use a shower squeegee as a tool: it fits well in the hand, is easy to guide, suitable for beginners - and best of all: you can easily replicate the technique at home with simple tools. We will try out different paint applications and layering techniques so that you can develop your own motif step by step - from abstract to suggested landscapes or figures.

During the workshop, you will paint several canvases in different formats of your choice, which you will take home with you at the end.

Good to know

• No previous experience necessary: Ideal for beginners - you will be guided step by step.

• Artwork to take home: You can take your painted artwork home with you straight after the course.

• On the way home: Please bring a suitable bag for your work to keep it safe.

• Course language: The workshop will be held in German. Please speak to our course leader if you would like the instructions in English.

• Location: When booking, pay attention to the address given for one of our two locations - you will also find it in your confirmation email.

• Aprons on site: If it gets colorful, we will of course protect you with aprons.

• Participation: The workshop is suitable for everyone aged 12 and over.
