At the beginning of each month, the Landesfrauenrat Hamburg e.V. invites you to feminist forums that focus on specific gender equality issues and encourage discussion. In May, we can look forward to a special event:

Karin Schönewolf from the women*'s education center DENKtRÄUME will take us on a city tour on the topic of "Traces of Jewish life in the Neustadt". Neustadt was a district in which many Jewish residents lived until the 1920s. The city tour takes us past former Jewish residences and educational institutions, shows us the memorial to Fanny Mendelsohn and tells us more about the merchant Glückl von Hameln and much more.

Meeting point: Hafentor/Ecke Eichholz (S-Bahn Landungsbrücken). Feminist forums are generally free of charge and open to all interested parties. In this case, please register at info@landesfrauenrat-hamburg.de and, if possible, make a donation for the city guide afterwards.
