Stadtwanderung von Mülheim zum Opalturm

In the organizer's words:

City walk from Mülheim to the Opalturm

We start in the Stegerwaldsiedlung, Cologne's first "satellite town". We walk through the Otto & Lange quarter to Mülheim harbor. We tell you about Mülheim's history at the Mülheimia fountain. We continue along Keupstraße to the Carlswerk. Where the Schauspielhaus is now housed, there was once the Felten & Guilleaume wire rope factory. Exciting architecture awaits us in the Schanzenviertel. Passing the Kulturbunker, we reach the Rhine. The Opal Tower at the Schlackenberg shipyard is a nice end to our city walk.
