Born in the GDR, he and his family wanted to flee to West Germany. Unfortunately, they took a wrong turn and ended up in the Soviet Union. After reunification, he finally made it to the West and ended up in Berlin Wedding. He learned his style on the streets of Berlin and discovered his gift for talking people through history for hours on end. Which apparently went down well and was considered funny. As it wasn't enough for him to just do this during the day, he decided over five years ago to do it at night on Berlin's comedy stages. First in German and then in English. This gave him the opportunity to perform on stages in Amsterdam, London and Edinburgh. His comedy charmingly illuminates history and the stories behind it, cultural contradictions and the absurdities of everyday life.
